I cannot go away without a word by the person who purchased Vincent Van Gogh’s only ever sold painting during his lifetime, Anna Boch. She was a fellow artist along with her brother Eugene, two wealthy Belgians, the children of the china factory director, Victor Boch. Anna painted in neo-impressionist style and she did it remarkably well.
Anna Boch used a colorful palette in her art works conjecturing a happy soul. Her olive and eucalyptus trees are vibrating in snappy brushstrokes and colors. Sunshine infuses everything, and little lights are playing on the leaves and the sea waves. Life is beautiful on Anna’s electrifying painting. The leaves, which gathered all the colors of the south French seaside, are trembling in the gentle breeze. This painting refills one’s soul with pleasant feelings.
For these feelings and for purchasing Vincent’s red vineyard many thanks to Anna Boch.
